Aventum Partners acted as an adviser to private equity investor Juuri Partners, Nurmi Family and the other shareholders on the sale of N-Clean. The transaction marks first exit for Juuri Partners, founded in 2015.
N-Clean is a leading independent Finnish B2B cleaning services provider serving customers nationwide in Finland and in the Stockholm and Åre regions in Sweden. The company has a strong position in hotel, ferry and facility cleaning in Finland and a growing presence in Sweden. N-Clean was founded in 2004 and has been present in the Swedish market since 2011. In 2018, the revenue of N-Clean exceeded 40 million euros and the Company employed approx. 2 000 cleaning professionals.
Following a competitive sale process managed by Aventum in which both domestic and international investors and trade buyers were targeted, N-Clean was sold to family-held MIAB, the largest privately-owned facility services company in Sweden. Founding Nurmi Family retained a 40% ownership share in the business after the transaction. The combination of MIAB and N-Clean has a combined turnover of nearly 100 million euros and will employ a total of 3 500 facility services professionals in Finland and in Sweden. The transaction was signed and closed in January 2019.
