Aventum acted as advisor to AVS-Yhtiöt Oy and the owners on the sale of AVS-Power Oy to Beijer Oy, a subsidiary of Beijer Alma AB.
Beijer Oy (“Beijer”) acquires AVS-Power Oy (“AVS”), a leading Finnish technical wholesaler and manufacturer of pneumatics, industrial valves and compressors with +40 years of family business heritage in the Finnish market. As a part of the transaction, operational assets have been transferred to AVS-Power Oy from the previous parent company AVS-Yhtiöt Oy.
AVS is leading technical wholesaler and manufacturer of pneumatics, industrial valves and compressors with a well-established global network of high-quality suppliers. AVS’ success is based on its top-tier technical and manufacturing capabilities to tailor its products based on customers’ needs and preferences. AVS is headquartered in Espoo and employs +30 professionals with presence in six locations through manufacturing and sales units.
The acquisition of AVS fits well Beijer’s strategy to acquire companies specializing in value-added sales, manufacturing and automation. Beijer will support AVS’ further development and growth through its extensive experience in fluid technology and industrial products.
