Mehilainen Oy acquires Mediverkko Oy

Aventum acted as adviser to Mediverkko. Mehilainen Oy has agreed to merge with Mediverkko Oy, for an undisclosed consideration. Mehilainen Oy, headquartered in Helsinki is the Finland-based hospital chain providing traditional healthcare as well as medical services for an aging population, corporate healthcare and information technology applications, and portfolio company of Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. L.P., the US-based private equity firm, and Triton Partners, the UK-based private equity firm. Mediverkko Oy, the Finland-based social and health care service provider, is headquartered in Helsinki.
